Where My Head Is At Right Now

6 months in with a new Agency and it's my fastest startup to get off the ground yet. But it's no joke starting a new company. If you haven't heard from me in awhile it's because I'm doing ALL THE THINGS. But now that my first clients are settled in to their growth rhythms, I'm starting to feel more settled into mine and had my first non-work weekend in months.

Main Expertise

This year marks 10 years as an entrepreneur - I left the Microsoft Mother-Ship in 2014 and I've been deep in Market Research, Continuous Improvement, CRO and Meta ads - recently adding new Elite Growth Marketers in LinkedIn and Google Ads.

What I’m Up To Daily

I've been customizing my methodologies that previously focused on Lead Gen for SMB... to B2B for Tech Startups and Mid-Size and Enterprise companies - so I'm in the weeds right now - in a good way with Vital Velociti.

I'm also an advisor for two marketing companies - Mint CRO and Napkin

Inventing with Data

I believe I've been successful because I have invention in my genes – my grandpa invented the merry-go-round milking parlor. My dad invented TP Plus, the Dude Wipes of the 80's. I invented a softball accessory in my 20's.

In 2008 I landed on a top engineering team at Microsoft with pedigreed Computer Science and Data Science peers. I came in knowing data and analytics, but I had no idea how to get access to any of it since I couldn't code. In a way, I was a dyslexic on the engineering team and had to do things differently to survive in a Type A competitive environment.

So I invented.

Invented ways to access data. Secured budgets, hired contractors, built my own databases. Ran large data sets through panels of judges. Defended my methodologies again and again. All of this has a lot to do with why I rose up the ranks to the top 5% of the top engineering team.

So when I left Microsoft and needed to figure out how to make it as an entrepreneur - I did what I know best - invented ways to access data...

Click-testing was born out of necessity for fast, inexpensive feedback from my audience. And I've used that methodology to attract and train 800+ clients, and generate $175M+ in revenue.

Most of my good content

In my spare time

  • I'm a biohacker
  • I'm a mom to a 16 year old son who's aiming to play college Lacrosse
  • I'm a partner to Stephan, and I get to braid his two little girl's hair a few days a week.

Businesses & Elite Growth Marketers I support and trust

Any link below is either a partner or tracked in some way. If you have a negative experience with any of these, PLEASE TELL ME.

Unbounce - 20% off your first three months (or 35% off your first full year). We use Unbounce for pages that don't have enough traffic, or need very rapid iteration.

Mouseflow - 14 day free trial. We use Mouseflow for our main heatmap and recording software. It's the best quality and we don't have to worry about buggy heatmaps or missing recordings. Fun story - I've been using it since 2015 and was the first person to get heatmap software approved into Microsoft - the team that used it was in the same org that later became Microsoft Clarity. I don't know all the dots that connected along the way, but one can imagine.
