The results: I click-tested my AI Generated profile pic
Once I realized I was going to be spending time on LinkedIn, I started to work on optimizing my profile for my ICP.
Since LinkedIn is all about person to person connection. I wanted to know which brand image was going to work the best. I used the Remini App to generate AI headshots since I didn't have any recent business photos.
The first batch of images didn’t look like me at all, I looked IG-hot but it wasn’t me. So I retrained the algo, added new pictures, chose different settings and voila, I got a new batch that looked a lot more like me, a zhuzh’d up me.
I also had some help...
When you’re looking at AI versions of yourself it’s hard to know if they look way to AI or if there’s resemblance, so my partner helped me narrow down to 3 images that resembled me the most.
Next I uploaded them to Canva and added different filters, because I know filters impact image test results - so you can see the 12 images I ended up testing and the results.
I thought image #1 would win because of the color-block effect of the couch but I was wrong... Image #5 won with 8.09% CTR, however I decided to go with image #10, which was second place with 7.14% CTR because I felt the suit made me look more professional and the suit-pose had more winners than the other two poses.
So there you go, you’ll see image #10 all over the place now - my social media profiles, website, pitch deck, etc… because my ICP chose it, and because click-testing is knowledge, is power, is money.
